Rogue anti-spyware is a growing problem for computer users. As we all know, spyware is a variety of nefarious software that attempts to gain access to your machine, in turn giving hackers access to all of your data. Rogue anti-spyware programs install themselves and masquerade as a legitimate antivirus or anti-spyware program, letting the computer owner know that threats are supposedly present on the computer. It will then attempt to glean a credit card number from the user, in order to install an update that will take care of the supposed issue.
